Nancy Chescheir is the Chair of COPE.

Nancy Chescheir is the Chair of COPE. She is an emeritus professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has served as Editor-in-Chief of two journals, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproducitive, Female and Child Health. She has a career-long interest in the way complex systems work and how they try to maintain themselves. This started with human physiology and has extended now to publication ethics.
